In this role you will be responsible for validation of the schedule data in the Launch phases

Main duties,
- Lead and manage BOM validation activities in line with PI planning expectations
- Arrange meetings with engineers to validate parts.
- Raise issues using the AIMS tool or live engineering concerns.
- Create and publish master metrics via a night letter daily during validation activities.
- Facilitate hand over meetings, and confirm closure of AIMS raised through validation.

Virtual Build Planning Lead - £34/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire (Hybrid potentil) - 10 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

As a Virtual Build Planning Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of aligned and validated engineering data, enabling vehicle prototype builds to set a new benchmark for excellence. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and build teams to drive results that make a tangible impact on prototype build events. This involves the coordination and delivery of multiple workstreams across Engineering Operations to ensure engineering data is aligned and delivered on time, enabling the physical build start, with zero issues passed to build. You will achieve this through technical planning, issue and risk management, reporting on technical status, presenting outcomes, and leading issue resolution reviews.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Co-ordinate the delivery and alignment of the required engineering data to enable build start across multiple projects and data sources. Workstreams include:
- Engineering BOM (CAD)
- Plan For Every Part
- BoM Validation
- Part to Order BoM
Own the delivery of buildable Engineering BOM (CAD) that enables physical prototype builds for:
- Full Vehicle Prototype
- Full Powertrain Unit Prototypes (Battery & EDU)
- Vehicle & Powertrain Rigs
Manage risks or issues to build via programme impediment reviews and build 'board walks.'
Lead CAD quality issue resolution reviews with key stakeholders and customers.
Coordinate a cross-functional team to deliver all required data prebuild.
Supervise a Virtual Build Analyst, conduct line management duties as well as manage daily workload and performance to achieve the delivery of buildable CAD.

Skills Required
Essential:
- Knowledge of automotive Bill of Materials.
- Technical automotive understanding (Vehicle & Powertrain content).
- Technical project management experience, with an ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and show evidence of planning and delivery.
- Capability to expedite successful delivery through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of multifunction teams.

The Data analyst lead role sits within Creative, reporting to the Data Excellence and Compliance Manager in the Business Planning and Transformation Team.
This role will support the design, analysis and maintenance of a diverse range of data inputs and outputs using a variety of tools to achieve reliable and consistent data use via creative visualisation techniques to enable engagement with the whole Creative chapter. Working across the Creative organisation, the individual will be responsible for developing data input methods, data automation and processes with stakeholders via PowerApps and other tools to enable clear and manageable data inputs to support the Creative ways of working. It will involve interacting with stakeholders who know what they require but need technical help to develop PowerApps as well as stakeholders who require process and input method design ideas and support from start to finish.

This role will also involve developing, implementing and maintaining analytics working with other data analysts in the team to identify and forecast trends/ patterns in complex data sets, validate assumptions and requirements and also capture potential inefficiencies whilst ensuring data outputs are customisable and easily interpreted through visual reporting using tools such as Tableau etc.

Responsibilities:
- Organising and transforming information into comprehensible visualisations, using tools such as PowerApps and Tableau
- Developing processes for data input, data automation and management across the Creative organisation.
- Using multiple known and unknown data sources to enable data driven decision making through effective trend/ pattern identification and forecasting for various processes such as resourcing and programme management etc.

Our client has recently restructured the Propulsion CAE team in particular the Virtual Build Factory team. The area is currently inventing and developing its processes to improve speed & quality. The successful candidate will be required to detect opportunities and develop the code to automate its process to unleash the efficiency required from the team. The role is multidisciplinary as it involves working on-cycle and off-cycle programmes primarily developing the code but working closely with Development engineers, analysts and model builders.

The individual will be responsible for the following:
- The collection and compilation of the Non Geometric Data by working with a multitude of internal customers
- The collection and compilation of the Geometric Data operating the in-house CAD Software to help the team build the virtual models.
- Understand the Virtual Factory floors in order to find opportunities to automate the current processes as well as build the required KPIs
- Determine the automation and optimisation requirements, develop code, metrics and targets.
- Code/program to convert the manual effort into automation
- Develop programming code to automate all manual processes to reduce time and improve quality.
- Support methods reviews as appropriate contributing ideas.
- Develop and deliver new process training material.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
- Creation of user guides and manuals to the train CAE team members.
