Duties:
Vehicle and Rig Test Operations forms the backbone of our client’s internal vehicle test and development capability, and is responsible for a wide and diverse range of activities including Structural and Durability Test, Body Rig Test, Road Load Data, Analytical Facilities, NVH, Climatic Test, and Safety Test. 

The Facility & Technology Development team are responsible for the design and delivery of facility components, test rigs and the infrastructure required in support of the core areas delivering physical test plans.  The area is also responsible for the development and delivery of key new facilities, technology, infrastructure and strategy for the wider business, project leading from concept through to delivery.

The role will see the associate lead the design and delivery of bespoke test rigs and fixtures in support of the core cycle plan across all the Engineering Labs test areas. These rigs will vary from component to system level or full vehicle testing.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Designing test rigs and components using the 3DX toolset (Catia V6) from concept to delivery.
- Creating 2D drawings for manufacture of parts at internal workshops and external suppliers.
- Liaising with customers to identify testing requirements and ensuring test rigs are capable of the task.
- Liaising with workshop fitters and supervisors.
- Managing and planning workload to ensure on time delivery of test rigs.
- Validation of designs using appropriate methods e.g., Hand Calculations, kinematics, MBS (Multibody Simulations), FEA/CAE.
- Creating technical reports.

Skills:
- Knowledge of testing methodologies relating to the testing of road vehicles.
- Knowledge of vehicle architecture, components and mechanical systems.
- Experienced CAD user for 3D modelling.
- Ability to produce and interpret 2D complex detailed drawings in order to prepare parts for manufacture and assembly.
- Understanding of various manufacturing techniques and how to optimise designs accordingly.
- Ability to manage workload, priorities, identify issues and solutions using own initiative.
- Ability to resolve technical and process issues promptly.

Duties:
The Test Kitting Engineer will be responsible for owning and managing the Bill of Materials (BoM) for Units Under Test (UUT) across Batteries, EDU, and Engine Test environments. This includes ensuring that all kits are complete, accurate, and delivered on time to support scheduled test activities. The role involves coordinating the procurement and logistics of components, including ordering, tracking, and expediting parts through internal systems and external suppliers to meet critical deadlines. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand specific test requirements and translate them into actionable kitting plans, ensuring all necessary components, tools, and documentation are prepared and available. In addition to following established kitting processes, the role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability. Regular performance updates, including weekly reports on kit readiness and delivery status, will be provided to the Central Planning Team. The engineer will also be expected to undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their role.

- Experience in managing end-to-end test kitting processes within engineering or automotive testing environments.
- Strong understanding of powertrain systems, including Batteries, Electronic Drive Units (EDU), and Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
- Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BoM) creation, maintenance, and delivery in support of test operations.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and procurement tools to source and track components.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other data handling tools to manage kit lists and reporting.

Responsible for monitoring and minimising the variability of wind noise performance on current production vehicle lines.

- Be an in-plant representative for the wind noise attribute, acting as a voice of the customer in the manufacturing environment.
- Detect where attribute performance could vary away from target (via objective measurement, subjective drive, static assessment/measurement, over checking build conformance to assembly process, etc.),
- Perform initial root cause investigation and drive issues through to resolution with the relevant responsible areas.

Role Overview:
As a Retouch Artist, you’ll refine and enhance 3D CGI imagery and photographic assets, ensuring every pixel reflects the client’s design excellence. You’ll bridge the gap between CGI and photography, working closely with CGI Artists and Art directors to deliver breathtaking visuals for global campaigns, digital channels, and product launches.

Key Responsibilities:
- Refine 3D renders with colour correction, compositing, special effects
- Convert 32-bit render outputs to 16-bit and 8-bit deliverables without quality loss
- Seamlessly integrate CGI cars into photographic backgrounds and vice versa using photo-bashing and photographic lighting techniques
- Perform photography clean-up: dust busting, skin and surface retouch, lens correction
- Organise and maintain digital assets, ensuring version control and easy retrieval
- Collaborate with art directors to interpret briefs and uphold brand guidelines
- Mentor junior retouchers, sharing best practices in CGI post-production and retouching
- Troubleshoot both technical and artistic challenges under tight deadlines
